The store matches this year’s overarching Infernal Carnival of Nightmares theme. Guests enter under a banner advertising Sideshow Obscura. The Curator, introduced in the HHN 32 Tribute Store, returns to run this shop and is featured on the banner.

A banner next to the door features more information about Sideshow Obscura.

This fully Curated experience takes you through our notably humble Sideshow Obscura.

Sought by sovereigns and countrypeople alike, find yourself in a world only we are brazen enough to share.

From the weird and unexplained to the fearsome and ferocious, here you leave one reality behind and shift into the unknown. If you stay on the path, all should be fine, but remember…

Only the bravest should…

Enter here if you dare!

Other banners at the entrance advertise the oddities inside.

There’s a lone carousel horse with a blue jacket and top hat draped over its back.

The first room is full of such oddities on top of bookshelves alongside merchandise. There are strange skulls and bones, specimens under glass, and haunted objects.

Atop one shelf is a glowing homunculus from The Bride of Frankenstein.

A broken vase and photo on another shelf are references to last year’s Tribute Store.

These three skulls in glass are also from the 2025 store. One is labeled as from the former Atlantian exhibit, a reference to Poseidon’s Fury.

The Chupacabra skeleton, horned skull, Fiji Mermaid, and more strange skeletons are from the 2025 Mardi Gras Tribute Store.

A haunted pram and another skull are next to the “drained remains of the amulet of fear,” which was an interactive element during Halloween Horror Nights 28.

Some objects are labeled. Others have their own banners with details.

The Mummified Giant is in one corner with a banner describing its history:

Eye of the Beholder
Discovered buried beneath a Grecian shop this colossus corpse was preserved for over 3,000 years! Banded in cloth and wound in chain it is thought to be one of the only known cyclopean giants fully intact. Unsubstantiated claims state it still moves independently when not being viewed.

Alongside a display of necklaces is a banner for the Cosmically Cursed Amulet of Misery:

Death of Fashion
Forged in the fires of the Earth’s chaotic creation, this golden amulet absorbs it’s [sic] wearers life essence. When it is done it drags that person deep into the core of the Earth. The power gained? Unknown, but the appetite of the amulet is never satiated.

The long-extinct Enchanted Oak Tavern from The Lost Continent is pictured on the banner for the Wing of Elements. Though the tavern was demolished in 2008 to make way for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it was replicated as the facade for Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate at Halloween Horror Nights 32.

Draconic Rage
Arthurian Legend tells a story of two warlocks shape-shifted into fierce dragons fighting to be the one to find Merlin’s book of magic. When the final battle ended, we managed to secure a wing of the fallen.

Another banner advertises the Hellish and Eternally Decaying Book of the Grotesque. Above the book’s image is a tentacled monster similar to the Cthulhu-like creature from the HHN 32 Tribute Store.

Page by Page
Although the origins of this book are unknown the linage [sic] is very well documented. All other previous owners went missing and left no trace other than this book. Notes held within suggest the book continues to claim victims within its pages.

On the floor are some prop decals, like this popcorn bag featuring the same clown face that’s outside the store and a Sideshow Obscura button.

This banner advertises the fearsome and stealthy Coffintooth Creature and more “live in the pit.” We’ll see the pit later.

At the end of this room is The Ouroboros Puppet Theater presenting The Tale of Two Souls.

As evil wakes, the cycle begins anew.

From a curated collection of beasts & beings, a choice is made & given no reason.

For life’s essence to pass a question is asked:

“Was the lesson learned this haunting season?”

As the wind stands still & no answer is given, The Curator grins & collects his remittance.

Another year passes as his torch grows brighter, awaiting the one that can douse this lamplighter.

The puppet show is in a small theater with giant eyes on the marquee.

As you enter the next room, you’ll pass a clown mask and black cat mask, mainstays of Halloween Horror Nights iconography.

This is where guests would enter the pit, but it’s at capacity of course. (The pit is not real.)

A mural advertises Odrik the Monster Tamer, who battles beasts in the pit.

Instead of entering the pit, guests walk through an apparent storage space for the strange beasts. In the center of the room is an eerily empty cage draped with large chains. Inside are food and water bowls. Guests hear animal sounds in this space.

The room features posters for several monsters like the Gruesome Vargspindel and Mouthbrooder.

There’s also an ad for the fight of the century: Gerg versus Duffy.

Guests pass through a relatively bare round space with scratches on the wall.

The hallway in the center of the store is lined with wooden fences decorated with a variety of posters, advertisements, and signs. A headless Odrik cutout is just past the door.

There are several Sideshow Obscura flyers and a “Help Wanted” ad. Retro signs advertise 75 cent hot dogs and popcorn. A door leading to the live animal feeding area is labeled for employees only.

One poster advertises the Intergalactic Space Crab. There’s a poster for fortune teller Madam Basiel.

At the end of the hallway is a wagon flat for “McDougal’s House of Horrors.”

Guests find themselves in an apparent backstage area for the sideshow. There are costumes and props among the merchandise shelves.

One wall has a faux stained glass window with blue light shining through.

The next space is the fortune teller’s room, with lanterns hanging over a round table with a crystal ball. The fabric on the ceiling and walls makes it feel like a tent.

The crystal ball is a large glowing orb with a smoky interior.

Against the walls are vintage-style furnishings piled with potions, books, and other mystical items.

Ghostly figures appear in this golden mirror.

Exiting the tent, guests enter the sideshow proper with a flat ticket booth, wheel of death, and more. This is where guests checkout.

Decals on the floor include more popcorn bags, posters, and tickets.

A fake ride track leads past a pair of swinging fire doors into a swirling portal. A mannequin to the side gestures inside.

One of the largest items in the space is part of a Ferris wheel. Purple and red bunting hangs from the wheel across the ceiling.

There’s a carousel roof with images like crossed pitchforks and a skeletal hand holding an orb. Nearby is another carousel horse.

At the exit is a cackling mannequin of The Curator with the last items of his collection. There are even more Easter eggs packed into this display.
