August 26, 2026 – St. Petersburg-based aerospace and defense technology company Acron Technologies announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its commercial training solutions business to FlightSafety International Inc. The sale will include Acron Technologies’ training systems, training services, aviation academy and driver training platform. According to a prepared statement, “the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.”
