Garth Brooks, known for selling out massive venues such Camping World Stadium with 70,000 fans in 2022, is hitting the road to play in the arenas that first saw the country star’s rise to fame.
Following the kick off of his latest tour with sold-out shows in Indianapolis, Brooks announced Wednesday that Orlando will be the fifth stop on the “Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour.” The larger than life singer-songwriter will take the stage at the Kia Center on Sept. 25 and 26 with both end-stage and in-the-round seating.
Unlike conventional tours, which are announced all at once, Brooks’ Instagram hinted at a return to arena shows in a post on July 7 before naming the first tour stop in Indiana. In the weeks to follow, he announced Denver, Chicago and Washington, D.C., trickling out show dates about a week and a half apart.
During a four-show, sold-out opening weekend at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Brooks laughed, cried and screamed with emotion as an estimated 17,000 fans sang along to his music, according to IndyStar.com.
This tour brings back the drum pod, a centerpiece of Brooks’ 1990s arena shows. Drummer Mike Palmer will sit inside a massive plexiglass and aluminum enclosure that resembles a spaceship.
This tour will serve as the foundation for “Killer Live,” a new live recording project that seeks to capture “history in real time.”

Known for chart-topping hits such as “The Thunder Rolls,” “The River” and “Friends in Low Places,” Brooks is the best-selling solo artist in the U.S. with more than 200 million albums sold and 10 RIAA-certified Diamond albums each selling over 10 million copies. He’s been named the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year seven times, received two Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards and 12 People’s Choice Awards.
Brooks is known for his electric live shows, famously drawing around 1 millions people to his 1997 concert at Central Park in New York. He also has a long history in Central Florida, first playing Sanford’s The Barn in 1989 and playing four shows in two days at the Kia Center in 2016, then known as the Amway Center.
