The alleged theft operation began in Dec. last year as the group targeted vacant homes of deceased individuals in Leon County and Tallahassee. The suspects reportedly stole valuables from the unoccupied homes and later sold or pawned the items valued at more than $20,000.
Investigators connected the numerous burglary and theft cases using surveillance footage, location data, pawnshop records and other evidence.
