Crash closes Northbound US1 at NW Wright Boulevard after vehicle overturns in Stuart

STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A two-vehicle crash in Stuart has left three people injured and caused a road closure, according to the Stuart Police Department.

SPD says that Police and Fire Rescue teams are currently on the scene of a two-vehicle crash at NW Wright Boulevard and US1. Northbound US1 is currently closed at NW Wright Boulevard as a result.

According to the Stuart Police Department, one vehicle was overturned, and the second vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in a wooded area. Three people were brought to a local hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries.

As of 9:35 p.m., SPD says that US1 Northbound at NW Wright Boulevard has reopened with one lane of traffic and drivers are encouraged to continue exercising caution.
