There are a handful of folks in the Bay area fully committed to platforming hip-hop. Danny Fazioli is one of them.

A staple from the since shuttered Shuffle Remix days, the DJ better known as Dfaz has moved his rap house to The Bricks in Ybor City, and this weekend he welcomes Caribbean singer-songwriter Beanie to headline, fresh off the release of a new single, “Beanie Baby.”

Producer Knux gets a set, and the night is rounded out by East Coast, Illsboro Records signee Asaru and Psych Montano.

There’s no cover to see Beanie, Knux, Asaru, and Psych Montano at The Bricks in Ybor City on Friday, Aug. 28.
