ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Minor injuries were reported after a St. Petersburg High School bus was involved in a crash with another vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened at 9th Avenue North and 10th Street North, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Police said there were 27 students and two adults onboard the school bus. It’s unclear how many people were in the other vehicle.

A few minor injuries were reported, but none were severe enough to require transport to a hospital, according to officials.

The incident caused some street closures in the area, with all lanes of 9th Avenue North shut down from MLK Street to Jackson Street.

No further information was immediately available.
