Central Florida rain chances expected to rise ahead of weekend races
ORLANDO, Fla. —
Rainfall coverage is expected to increase in Central Florida during the late afternoon and early evening on Friday.
Temperatures will reach the mid-to-low 90s this afternoon, but they are expected to drop to the low 90s through the weekend as rainfall coverage remains elevated.
Race weekend forecast
Heavy rain is expected around 5 p.m. Friday, shortly before the Winn-Dixie 250. The forecast shows conditions improving, with rain possibly moving out by race time.
For Saturday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400, storms are expected to push inland, which could lead to more favorable conditions for the race.
