Frankie’s Pizza Parlor opens its doors Friday, Aug. 28, at 6340 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach. Since July 4th weekend, a walk-up pizza window has served customers. Now the full dining room launches beside The Luce hotel.
New York-style pizza headlines the menu. Fresh pasta gets made in-house each day. Twelve draft taps line the bar, pouring brews from America’s big pizza towns. One tap features Frankie’s West Coast IPA, a custom beer brewed with 3 Daughters Brewing.
The Luce hotel team built this spot from scratch. Eighteen TVs hang throughout, and checkered tablecloths cover the tables. It’s meant to feel like your neighborhood sports bar.
The Limone Dip catches eyes on the menu — a pizza sandwich stuffed with crispy chicken, citrus ricotta, caramelized onions, capers, and lemon butter. Chicken Parmesan arrives at your table where servers pour molten mozzarella and parmesan over the top. This dish feeds two. Dunkerz are warm mini cookies topped with sprinkle frosting. The Jules Freeze mixes orange and vanilla into a frozen drink with booze.
According to I Love the Burg, drinks get creative here. Try the Kickflip Negroni or the Roaming Fees Margarita. The Late Fee is a frozen espresso martini. An amaro-style old fashioned rounds out the list. The 1990s theme shows up in both the design and what’s on plates.
Happy hour happens Thursday through Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m. Doors open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
