ORLANDO, Fla. — Robots are (purposely) wreaking havoc at an annual event that attracts the creative and the curious.

The 13th Maker Faire Orlando is hands-on fun and celebrates DIY science, technology and art.
During our visit, we found out that 3D printing is huge this year, showcasing the latest techniques.
The people behind these exhibits are known as “Makers,” and they give guests a chance to discover new interests. Ian Cole is one of the Maker Faire Orlando founders. “If you don’t necessarily know what you’re into yet, you’re going to see something here that sparks your imagination,” he told me. “And once you have that spark, you can actually talk to people who do that and you can learn how to get started.”
Passion projects are peppered all throughout the Central Florida Fairgrounds, and most of it is indoors. Star Wars, rockets, cosplay, #D sneakers, figurines – S.T.E.A.M is on full display.
Maker Faire Orlando runs this weekend, Nov. 8 and 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days. Tickets start at $20.
