The Mandarin Garden Club is welcoming fall with a lineup of free public programs and community events running through September and October.
Throughout September, the club is hosting free programs featuring expert speakers on sustainable landscaping, water conservation and gardening adapted to Florida’s climate. Circle meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday, the third Tuesday and Thursday, all at 10 a.m., and the fourth Thursday at 7 p.m. Topics and speakers for each meeting are posted on the club’s Community Calendar page at mandaringardenclub.org.
The club’s “Trash to Treasure Sale” is set for Thursday and Friday, Oct. 2 and 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, featuring garage- and estate-sale-style items, a pop-up plant sale and a cafe.
The club’s 17th annual Craft Fair follows Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring crafts from club members alongside numerous local vendors. A few outside 10-foot vendor spaces remain available for $40. Vendors interested in participating can contact Joyce Datz at 904-287-3602 or jdatz@bellsouth.net.
The Mandarin Garden Club grounds are open to the public for walking and relaxing, and the club also books private events. More information is available at mandaringardenclub.org.
