Michigan looks to win a second straight match on Saturday afternoon when it takes on Miami
The Michigan Wolverines host the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon in a women’s volleyball matchup. The Wolverines opened up their season on Friday night against Long Island, and they picked up a 3-0 victory. They had little trouble beating the Sharks, as they won 25-11, 25-22 and 25-13. Saturday, they will get a bigger test, but they will be looking to stay unbeaten early in the season. The Wolverines have a busy week coming up as they will play South Carolina and LSU in the Big Ten/SEC Challenge on Tuesday and Wednesday before playing Cincinnati and Valparaiso over the weekend.

The Hurricanes didn’t get off to as good of a start to the season, as they lost at Michigan State on Friday night in five sets.
The Hurricanes lost the first set, but won the next two and looked on their way to pick up a big road victory. Unfortunately, they lost the fourth set 25-19 and the final set 15-6.
The Hurricanes will return home after their match on Saturday to play UCLA on both Friday and Saturday. They will then play three straight games on the road.
