The Miami Dolphins have finished their 2026 preseason slate, and they went 0-3 in their first three exhibition games with new head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan at the helm.
Those results don’t really matter, but the performance on the field certainly does, as Miami, like every other team in the NFL, will have to trim their roster before the upcoming deadline. The Dolphins currently have 91 players on their roster, but over the next two days, they’ll have to get down to just 53.

NFL roster cut deadline
Deadline: Sunday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m. ET
The Dolphins have completed their three preseason games and won’t practice this weekend, so they won’t have any more time to evaluate more on-field performances.
