Jacksonville man fatally shot on Northside Saturday night, JSO investigates

A man is dead following a shooting on Jacksonville’s Northside Saturday evening, and investigators are working to piece together what happened.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office detectives responded to the area of North 17th Street and West Davis Street shortly after 5:30 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
