SAINT PAUL, Minn. (Aug. 29, 2026) – Tyrese Spicer scored in second-half stoppage time to rescue a point for Orlando City SC (7-11-4, 25 points) in a 3-3 draw against Minnesota United FC (7-7-8, 29 points) on Saturday night at Allianz Field.

The Lions opened the scoring in the 28th minute when Daryl Dike, making his first MLS start since returning to the Club this summer, contested a 50-50 cross in the six-yard box before outmuscling his defenders, turning and firing in the opener from a narrow angle.

Antoine Griezmann doubled the visitors’ lead in the 64th minute after Justin Ellis filtered a ball in transition to the Frenchman to put him one-on-one with goalkeeper Alec Smir. Griezmann calmly slotted the ball past Smir and into the lower right corner of the net for his fifth goal across all competitions since arriving in Orlando.

The home side then flipped the scoreline on its head as Marcus Caldeira, Anthony Markanich and Kevin Yeboah all struck within a span of four minutes to put Minnesota United up 3-2 with a quarter hour remaining.

With the match in the third minute of stoppage time, Griezmann picked up a pass in his own half and lofted a long ball down the left wing to Spicer, who drove into the box and finished at the near post to earn his side a last-gasp point. The goal was Spicer’s eighth of the year across all competitions.

Orlando City will next return home to Inter.co Stadium for another contest against a Western Conference side, San Diego FC, on Saturday, Sept. 5 (7:30 p.m. ET | Apple TV).

“What everybody saw is probably 60 minutes really good. We came here, we were winning two-zero and it’s disappointing to be losing three-two with some mistakes we commit. And then the guys did a huge effort. We never stopped fighting, even with those mistakes. We were able to come back to tie. Weird sensation because we were really close to winning, but a point on the road is always point.”

Forward Daryl Dike:

“Frustrating match. I think we worked really hard from minute one. It’s never easy to go anywhere away. We put ourselves in a good position, and unfortunately, collectively, we made a few mistakes that they capitalized on. Frustrating. I think at the beginning, you take a point, but knowing how the game played out, and the quality—the standard—that we have for ourselves, it’s a frustrating one.”
