Saturday’s major money Florida Lottery draw games paid off in ultimate luck for shoppers at Publix and Winn-Dixie.
None of that jackpot fortune graced Powerball players, who’ll have a $131 million jackpot Monday, or Florida Lotto players, who’ll have a $5.75 million jackpot on Wednesday.
Saturday’s Fantasy 5 midday drawing numbers were 11, 19, 21, 29, and 35, bringing $29,597 to the holders of Quick Pick tickets bought at the West Miami-Dade Publix at 8680 Coral Way and the Publix at 12231 E. Colonial Dr. in Orlando.
Where the midday draw celebrated odd numbers, the evening draw was an even number party: 8, 10, 16, 20, 32. A Publix shopper in West Palm Beach, 2895 N. Military Tr., chose those numbers. The machine at a Palm Bay Winn-Dixie, 5270 Babcock St., pumped out a free Quick Pick ticket with those numbers. Each ticket’s hunk of the jackpot was $60,515.
These tickets must be cashed at one of the nine Florida Lottery district offices around the state. The Miami office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080. What’s called the West Palm Beach office is actually in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd. You can call the office at 561-640-6190 or email WPBRC@flalottery.com.
Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. Both offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
