ORLANDO, Fla. – A man is dead, another injured, after an early-morning crash involving two motorcycles Sunday, state troopers say.
Troopers say the two men were riding on Innovation Way right near South Alafaya Trail in Orlando above the speed limit, when they lost control on a turn around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
That’s when, Florida Highway Patrol says, a 45-year-old man from Haines City was thrown from his motorcycle, hit a fence, and died.
Troopers say the other man, a 34-year-old from Orlando, was also thrown from his motorcycle, and went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
