Yacht Rockin’ offers sophisticated grooves and some of the most unforgettable music of the ’70s and ’80s when they take to the stage at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m., with a special 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Yacht Rockin’ brings together an all-star lineup of Southwest Florida’s premier musicians, whose collective credits include working and recording with members of Steely Dan, Yes, The Moody Blues, Bon Jovi, Goo Goo Dolls and Sly Stone, as well as Glenn Frey.

Together, they’ll recreate the sophisticated, jazz-influenced rock, soaring vocals and silky-smooth harmonies that defined an unforgettable era of popular music.

Audiences can expect favorites from Ambrosia, Toto, America, Michael McDonald, Gary Wright, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross and many more—all performed live by exceptional vocalists and instrumentalists with plenty of room for the musicianship and incredible soloists that made this music so distinctive.

More than a tribute concert, Yacht Rockin’ is a trip back to a time when impeccably crafted songs, lush vocal arrangements and world-class studio musicians ruled the radio. It’s music that evokes summer nights, convertibles, FM radio and a soundtrack that has never really gone away.

The concerts take place at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers, which has entertained more than 170,000 guests annually since 1993. The professional theatre company features a 382-seat dinner theatre, an 86-seat black box theatre, meeting and event spaces, a gift shop, lobby bar and art gallery. Its annual programming includes Broadway musicals, musical revues and comedies, children’s productions, concerts and more than 200 community and special events.
