Motorcyclist killed, another injured in Orange County crash, FHP says
Two motorcyclists were speeding when they failed to negotiate a curve on Innovation Way early Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed, and another rider suffered minor injuries in an Orange County crash early Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred about 1:41 a.m. on Innovation Way south of State Road 434, FHP said.
A 2015 Yamaha FZ-09 and a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 were traveling north above the posted speed limit when the riders failed to negotiate a curve, according to FHP. Both motorcycles left the road and struck a curb, throwing the riders from their bikes.
The Yamaha rider, a Haines City man, struck a fence and was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
The Kawasaki rider, a 34-year-old Orlando man, was taken to AdventHealth East Orlando with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to FHP.
Both men were wearing helmets, FHP said.
The crash remains under investigation, and neither rider’s identity was released.
