Here’s the Miami Dolphins initial 53-man roster for 2026 after cuts

Aug. 30, 2026, 6:07 p.m. ET

The Miami Dolphins, led by general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, did a lot of work over the last two days to trim their roster down from 91 players to 53 before the deadline on Sunday.

While this is the group that the Dolphins end the weekend with, it will certainly not be the group that they bring into their Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. Miami is rebuilding, so they will be looking for better options on the waiver wire and on the free-agent market in the next few days.

Before that, let’s take a look at the Dolphins’ initial 53-man roster for the 2026 season.
