Boca Raton, FL — August 31, 2026 — Wednesday, Aug. 26, marked Florida Lineworker Appreciation Day, recognizing the men and women whose expertise and dedication help deliver reliable electricity in all weather conditions. On Friday, Aug. 28, Florida Power & Light Company lineworkers received special recognition from Warfield Elementary School’s first grade classes, who shared heartfelt thank-you notes during a Touch-A-Truck event.
