Tyrese Spicer delivered a wild finish to a wild game on Saturday night.
Orlando City‘s Trinidadian international striker scored a 93rd-minute equalizer to salvage a heart-stopping 3-3 road draw at Minnesota United FC and earn Energy Moment of the Matchday presented by Celsius honors for Matchday 23.
The Lions went from a comfortable two-goal lead to staring at defeat after Minnesota scored three times in five minutes late in the second half to flip the game on its head.
But Spicer would have the final say.
Shortly after coming off the bench, the No. 1 pick of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft took a long through ball from Antoine Griezmann, raced down the left side and coolly beat goalkeeper Drake Callender from a tight angle.
Thanks to Spicer’s last-gasp goal, the Lions left Allianz Field with a vital point that left them in ninth place in the East – good for the conference’s final Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoff spot.
Orlando continue their late-season push on Saturday when they host San Diego FC at Inter.co Stadium (7:30 pm ET | Apple TV).
