Miami-based Urbania Development is planning a high-rise luxury tower in North Bay Village.
The yet-to-be-named venture would measure 28 stories above grade, measuring 339 feet at its highest point. The development would feature just 70 high-end residences, with the smallest home spanning 1,997 square feet. They would include two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom configurations.
There would be a plethora of amenities aimed at all ages and lifestyles. A sampling includes multiple resort-style swimming pools, kid/teen rooms, and a library. A key feature also includes the ground-floor “Island Walk,” a recreational walking path near the bayside. Residents would also have access to 142 parking spots, averaging about 1.5 per unit.

If brought to fruition, the 28-story tower would replace the 41-unit Bayview Villages. An affiliate of Urbania Development (Urbania Management) purchased the community for $21 million this July; the property saw a 162.5 percent gain in value after having previously traded for $8 million in 2008. The site spans 33,000 square feet, about .77 acres.
The 28-story high-rise tower is slated for 7915 East Drive, North Bay Village, Florida, 33141, in Miami-Dade County.
