Charlotte County Public Safety said a crash on Burnt Store Road sent two people to the hospital Friday night.
CCPS said it was a two vehicle crash with moderate to heavy damage. There were three patients and one of the patients had to be extricated.
One of the patients was a trauma alert and flown via aeromed to the hospital. One was transported via ambulance to a local hospital and another person refused treatment.
The Southbound lanes were shutdown for about an hour north of Zemel Road.
