TFD crews in Texas support wildfire response, protect structures and bolster water supply

PALO PINTO, Tx — Fire crews from Tallahassee Fire Department remain in Texas, where they are helping battle wildfires and protect threatened communities.

TFD personnel deployed to Texas are operating from the Incident Command Post in Palo Pinto, Texas. The crews are assisting with structure protection and water supply operations as part of the ongoing wildfire response.

“We are proud of our members for answering the call and supporting communities beyond our own,” the department said.
