Motorcycle crash shuts down I-95 Southbound in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A motorcycle crash has left I-95 Southbound closed near Martin County, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol.

MCSO says that the crash took place around mile marker 98, which is in southern Martin County, just north of Hobe Sound and Exit 96 (Bridge Road), and south of Exit 101 (Kanner Highway/Stuart). As of now, Southbound is completely shut down. The driver of the motorcycle is being flown to a nearby hospital.

MCSO says that drivers traveling southbound should avoid the area and expect significant delays, and FHP is on the scene investigating.
