PORT ST. LUCIE – Police are searching for two men who broke into a Port St. Lucie home on Nov. 7 and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
According to police reports, officers responded to home in the 1000 block of Southwest Coleman Avenue, Port St. Lucie at about 2 p.m., for reports of a home invasion.
The woman, who was alone in the house, told officers that two men forced their way in, brandished a firearm and demanded money from her. After giving them the money, the suspects left the scene in a maroon SUV. There were no injuries.
The two men were wearing all black, including hoodies and masks covering their faces, with white gloves on their hands, and slides on their feet, police said.
A surveillance camera from a neighbor across the street was able to capture pictures of the suspects and the maroon SUV.
Police are urging people not to approach the suspects as they may be armed.
