Detectives are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a Tri-Rail train in Fort Lauderdale Thursday morning, officials said.
Fort Lauderdale Police said they received a call about a body on the train tracks in the 6200 block of N. Andrews Avenue around 6:15 a.m.
Officers responded and found the man who had been struck by the train, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity hasn’t been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
