Garth Brooks’ Orlando concerts – September 25 & 26 – sold quickly, leaving anyone hoping to see his Blame It All On My Roots Tour in Central Florida with few options to choose from.
Now Garth finds himself seriously considering adding a third night at the Kia Center.
“It breaks my heart to see anyone feel like their only option is the secondary market. On the business side, I know I should play it safe and just stick to doing the two shows that sold,” he says, quickly adding, “With that said, the ‘human’ side of me says we left good people wanting tickets…and those are people I want to play for and sing with.”
More than 250,000 people were “in line” when tickets went on sale in Orlando, a city that‘s always proven to be a strong market for Garth and continues to support the artist.
“Anytime you get a chance to do a show – any show – you get a chance to promote people loving one another,” Brooks says. “So, whether we end up playing for 10 people or 10,000 people, I will take that chance. Country music crowds are the best there are.”
It would appear the entertainer need not worry about playing to an audience of 10, by any means. Social media posts across all platforms show people lamenting that tickets were gone before they could reach the front of the online queue…and demand extends far beyond Central Florida, with posts being made from all over the Sunshine State.
