A man accused of pointing a gun at another driver during a road-rage incident in Pompano Beach has been arrested, authorities said.

Marty Edward Koehler, 44, is facing an aggravated assault with a weapon charge in the alleged incident that happened back on Aug. 7 in the area of Lucky Lane and Southwest 3rd Street, an arrest report said.

According to the report, the victim said he was driving when a blue Ford pickup aggressively maneuvered in front of him and collided with his vehicle, causing minor damage.

The victim said the driver pointed what he described as a black firearm with a chrome tip towards him, the report said.

Investigators tracked down the truck, which belongs to a concrete company registered to Koehler, the report said.

Koehler agreed to speak with deputies about the incident and was taken into custody before he was booked into jail, the report said. Attorney information wasn’t available.
