JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Downtown Vision Inc. announced the return of Third Thursday Sip & Stroll beginning Thursday, Sept. 17. The monthly event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month along the Southbank Riverwalk.
While construction continues around Friendship Fountain, the Sip & Stroll footprint will temporarily stretch from 1701 Prudential Drive to RiversEdge at 2010 Prudential Drive at the east end of the riverwalk.
“Third Thursday Sip & Stroll Presented by PNC Bank has truly become a signature experience on the Southbank Riverwalk,” Jake Gordon, CEO of Downtown Vision Inc., said. “This season, we’re navigating some exciting change, temporarily relocating to RiversEdge while the area around Friendship Fountain undergoes construction. We’re thrilled to kick things off with our friends at Rio Latino Jax and are grateful for another great season made possible by our presenting sponsor, PNC Bank.”
The event will feature live music, food trucks and carts, riverside bars and relaxed picnic areas set against a sunset skyline. Alcoholic beverages in branded cups are permitted and can be purchased at on-site Riverwalk bars.
