FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested in Fort Lauderdale Friday after police said he got into a physical dispute with a woman inside a home.
The 22-year-old is now facing one count of domestic battery, according to court records.
Fort Lauderdale police officers responded to a reported domestic dispute at a home in the 1400 block of Southwest 5th Court around 11:56 a.m. Friday, according to CBS Miami.
Police said Doherty and an unidentified woman were involved in a physical altercation inside the home. The woman was not injured, police said.
Doherty was taken into custody and booked into the Broward County Main Jail on the misdemeanor charge.
The arrest marks another South Florida run-in with law enforcement for the social media personality, who is known for filming pranks, stunts and other viral content.
Doherty was previously arrested in Miami Beach in November 2025 after police said he intentionally stepped into traffic on Washington Avenue while filming social media content, according to previous reports.
According to Miami Beach police, officers repeatedly ordered Doherty to get out of the roadway, but he refused, telling officers, “Once I’m done with this bet.”
Officers ultimately arrested Doherty after determining he was deliberately refusing to follow their orders and obstructing traffic, according to arrest documents.
A search of Doherty during that arrest turned up an orange pill police said was consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine, along with suspected marijuana, according to the documents. He faced charges including possession of amphetamine and marijuana and resisting an officer without violence.
