Florida State, which opened the season with a win over Alabama and started 3-0, took out its frustrations on visiting Wake Forest last week, pounding its way to a 42-7 victory. After leading 14-0 at the half, the Seminoles broke the game open with touchdowns on four straight possessions. Tommy Castellanos was 12-of-16 for 271 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for a score, while Samuel Singleton Jr. ran for 91 yards and a TD on 14 carries. Duce Robinson caught five balls for 148 yards and a touchdown as well, and Gavin Sawchuk ran for two scores.

Clemson lost last week in gut-wrenching fashion when visiting Duke got into the end zone with 40 seconds left and converted a two-point try to take a 46-45 victory. The Tigers had moved ahead in the back-and-forth contest when Cade Klubnik and T.J. Moore hooked up for a 75-yard touchdown pass with 10:28 remaining. Klubnik was 27-of-36 for 385 yards and two touchdowns, with Antonio Williams making 10 receptions for 142 yards and a score. Adam Randall picked up 89 yards and two TDs on 16 carries.

Clemson’s win at Florida State last season was its eighth over the Seminoles in their last nine meetings, though Florida State still leads the all-time series 21-16.
