Lil Duval to premiere independent horror-comedy film in Jacksonville on Sept. 10

  • September 7, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Comedian Lil Duval is bypassing the traditional Hollywood distribution model for his new horror-comedy, “Camp Duval: Ain’t Nobody Dying Today!” announcing a six-city interactive premiere tour beginning in Jacksonville on Thursday and a global VOD release timed for Halloween.

The film, from Rich Broke Entertainment and Swirl Films, is executive produced by and stars Lil Duval alongside comedians and creators JaySki, Just Brittany, Erica Duchess, Nod Ross and MoneyBags Mafia, with appearances by Tyler Chronicles and Navv Greene. The ensemble cast and creators together command a social reach of more than 45 million, the producers said.

Duval’s direct-to-consumer plan begins with an interactive, red‑carpet, experiential tour that opens in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, on Sept. 10 at Cinemark Tinseltown. Additional tour dates include:

Sept. 17 — Tampa, Fla., Sun-Ray Cinema

Sept. 24 — Birmingham, Ala., Premiere Cinemas

Oct. 8 — Nashville, Tenn., Belcourt Theatre (1925 Hall)

Oct. 15 — Detroit, Mich., Belair Luxury Cinema

Oct. 29 — Atlanta, Ga., Tara Theatre (flagship red‑carpet premiere)

Following the tour, the film will play in a limited theatrical engagement with AMC Theatres before debuting Oct. 31, 2026, on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video and CampDuval.com .

“I just wanted to make something that felt like me; funny, crazy, unexpected and something people can actually have a good time watching,” Lil Duval said in a statement. “We made the movie, we made it our way, and now we’re taking it straight to the people. That’s really what Camp Duval is about — having fun, doing it on your own terms and, most importantly, ain’t nobody dying today!”

Nod Ross, who plays a character in the film named Holden, said the film is intended to bring people together for a good time.

“I don’t want us to be a city where everybody feels like it’s violence,” Nod Ross said. “We have…great times here so I would love for everybody to come out and show the people that we can get together, laugh and go home and say we had a great time.”

Eric Tomosunas, founder and CEO of Swirl Films, said self-financing allowed the team to retain control over the intellectual property and the film’s distribution strategy.

The producers released an official first-look trailer and say media assets, key art, production stills and an electronic press kit are available in the film’s digital press room. Tickets, tour details and event information are at CampDuval.com .
