CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — A Cape Coral woman will go before a judge on Tuesday, more than a year after her friend was found dead in a Charlotte County nature preserve.
Cape Coral police arrested Lori Hamilton in August on charges of disturbing a dead body and failing to report a death. Her arraignment hearing is set for 9:30 a.m.
Hamilton was Brenda Corbin’s longtime friend and caretaker. According to her arrest warrant, Hamilton reported Corbin missing last May.
License plate readers tagged Hamilton’s truck in the area where Corbin’s body was found.
