Police are investigating after a body was pulled from the water near the The St. Pete Pier on Tuesday.
Officers responded shortly after 2 p.m. to a call about a body floating in the water near The Pier at 600 Second Ave.NE., according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. Marine patrol officers brought the man’s body to shore.
Detectives were working to identify the man. The Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
No other information has been released.
