For fourth year, Florida lawmakers propose bill which would ban pride flags on government buildings

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCJB) – For the fourth time, state lawmakers are proposing a bill that would ban certain flags from flying on government buildings, including pride flags.

Florida Senator Clay Yarborough proposed Senate Bill 426 this week.

Which would ban flying flags outside of government buildings that reference politics, race, gender or sexual orientation.

This is the fourth year Florida lawmakers have proposed such a bill.
