Is Tampa the next Miami? Well, the verdict is still out, but a popular South Florida restaurant chain is about to debut in Tampa’s Water Street neighborhood.
Fast-casual well-ness café chain Pura Vida Miami will officially open this Thursday, Sept. 10 at 1038 Water St., in the former Dwell & Company location.
Pura Vida, founded by Israeli businessman and restauranteur Omer Horev, offers a MAHA-friendly seed oil-free menu, with items like avocado toast, salads, various eggs, protein plates, smoothies, açaí, coffee and matcha, as well as seasonal fare.
According to a press release, the new location will feature Pura Vida’s newest fall menu additions, including “Steak & Eggs, the Breakfast Burrito, Scallion & Feta Omelette, Fennel Pistachio salad, Miami Vice Smoothie and seasonal Pumpkin Spice Cloud.”
The new 3,400-square-foot outpost is Pura Vida’s 57th location, and its first in the Tampa Bay location.
“For us, growth has always been about finding the right communities where Pura Vida can genuinely become part of people’s everyday lives. Tampa has been one of those markets for us for a long time,” said Horev on a statement. “There’s an incredible energy here and a strong sense of community that we believe in. We see the opportunity to build something lasting in Tampa Bay, and this opening is only the beginning of what we hope to establish here.”
The Water Street Pura Vida will be open Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
