Three people are now facing serious charges in connection with two separate fentanyl overdose cases in South Florida, including one that left an 18-month-old boy dead.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Miami Police held a news conference Thursday to announce the charges in the deaths of little Cameron Boujolly and 63-year-old Natasha Toral.
Boujolly died in January after investigators found fentanyl and cocaine in his system, and it was later determined he’d entered an unlocked room inside the home and ingested drugs he found there.
Cameron was later found cold and unresponsive in the living room by his mother.

The mother, Pearlandria Boujolly, was arrested last month on an aggravated manslaughter charge while Richie Gregoire, who was living at the home, was arrested after investigators found nearly 70 grams of fentanyl in his bedroom, authorities said.
Gregoire was recently transferred from federal custody and is now also facing an aggravated manslaughter charge in the boy’s death, authorities said Thursday.
Toral died after she had been unresponsive in June of 2025, and an autopsy later determined her cause of death was acute combined drug toxicity of fentanyl and cocaine.
Raul Cruz, 32, was at the scene and was in possession of numerous needles and three small baggies containing fentanyl, authorities said.
He was initially arrested for possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use but is now facing a first-degree murder charge in Toral’s death, authorities said.
“These arrests reflect diligent investigative work and our continued commitment to keeping fentanyl off our streets,” FDLE Miami Special Agent in Charge Michael Stein said.
