Cape Coral Technical College completed a 31,000-square-foot expansion that will allow more than 150 additional students annually to pursue skilled-trade certifications. The addition at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd. N., built by Owen-Ames-Kimball, is the college’s first major expansion since the Cape Coral campus opened in 1993. At full capacity, the college will serve up to 500 students annually, with programs in transportation, manufacturing, architecture and construction. Training includes welding, HVAC, automotive repair, marine service technology and construction trades. During the ribbon-cutting, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats was announced as the college’s first Founding Industry Partner and made an initial $20,000 donation.
