OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners, a wealth advisory and financial planning firm with offices in Parsippany, announced on Sept. 10 that it purchased Bast Financial Group, a Tampa, Fla.-based wealth management firm led by founder and private wealth adviser Rebecca Bast, expanding OnePoint’s presence in Florida.

Bast and her six colleagues join OnePoint BFG, adding about $400 million in assets under management, as of Sept. 4. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded by Bast, Bast Financial Group serves business owners, executives and families with complex planning needs, including multigenerational wealth transfer. Since beginning her career in 1994, Bast has built a practice focused on life planning and personalized service.

The seven-person team joining OnePoint BFG includes Bast, Parveen Hall, Daniel Geroge, Taylor McCullough, Elena Madrazo, Jonathan Clifford and Jamie Hayes. The practice will operate under the OnePoint BFG name, with co-branding during a transition period.

“Rebecca and her team share our belief that the best financial advice begins with understanding the person, family and goals behind the numbers,” said Andy Schwartz, chief executive officer of OnePoint BFG. “Their experience, empathy and commitment to planning will elevate the client experience across our firm. At the same time, OnePoint BFG’s scale and resources will give their clients even greater depth without disrupting the trusted relationships they have built over decades.”

Through OnePoint BFG, Bast Financial Group clients will gain access to expanded investment capabilities, upgraded technology and a broader team of specialists. Those resources will complement – not replace – the individualized, relationship-driven support clients receive from Bast and her team. The combination also strengthens OnePoint BFG’s ability to serve business owners, executives and families navigating financial decisions and multigenerational planning.

“OnePoint BFG offers the best of both worlds: the freedom and flexibility of an independent firm, combined with the resources, technology and support we need to serve our clients at the highest level,” said Bast. “Its client-first culture immediately felt aligned with the vision we have built at Bast Financial Group. I am also excited to work with Andy, whom I have known and respected for more than 30 years. And with ‘BFG’ already in the name, it felt like it was meant to be.”

This team joining builds on OnePoint BFG’s continued expansion in 2026, following its partnerships with Voyage Wealth Architects and Armstrong & Sinoff Financial earlier this year. Now managing more than $18 billion in advisory assets, OnePoint BFG continues to grow its national platform through partnerships with advisers and teams that share its planning-led, client-first philosophy.
