A former volunteer basketball coach for a community center in Miami is heading to prison after pleading guilty Thursday to several charges including molesting a child and exposing himself to a minor.

Charles Williams, 28, had three open cases dating back to 2021 involving children, including one where police said he inappropriately texted a 10-year-old boy and another where he exposed himself in front of a minor.

In 2023, Williams was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to inappropriately touching a 6-year-old boy.

But last year, he was re-arrested while on probation when he picked up the two new cases.

Under the accepted plea deal, Williams was sentenced to 77 months in state prison, a little over six years, followed by 10 years of probation.
