JACKSONVILLE, Ore. – Spooky season is around the corner, and you can celebrate early with Jacksonville’s Haunted History Walking Tours!

The one-hour tours offer two routes to choose from, each covering a range of topics. The Britt Hill tour features murder, arson, saloons, and Chinatown, and the Courthouse tour highlights brothels, epidemics, and hangings.

Carolyn Kingsworth, President of Historic Jacksonville Inc., told NBC5 News that everything you hear on the tour is based on real reports.

“These are not your typical ghost tours with special effects and whatnot. These are actually more history tours. These are things people have actually experienced and shared with us.”

More Haunted History Walking Tours are happening Saturday evening, as well as on a few select dates in October. Tour size is limited. Tickets are $10; you can grab yours at historicjacksonville.org
