Fort Pierce police investigate bomb threat reported at HCA Lawnwood Hospital

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Fort Pierce Police Department is investigating a bomb threat sent at HCA Lawnwood Hospital, according to the Fort Pierce Police Department.

FPPD says they are actively investigating a bomb threat at the hospital. It comes in light of a slew of bomb threats made across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast in recent weeks.

The Fort Pierce Police Department provided an update just after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, saying that officers conducted an extensive search of the buildings and found no suspicious items or devices.
