ORLANDO, FL – The chill settles in Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Temperatures will drop near freezing across Marion, Flagler, and Sumter counties, with mid to upper 30s expected in Lake, Orange, Seminole, Volusia, and Osceola. Brevard will wake up to lows in the low 40s.

But the bigger story? Gusty conditions will push wind chills into the 20s for much of Central Florida — making it feel even colder on the skin.
Wind chills Tuesday morning
A freeze and frost will be possible north and west of Interstate 4, so Monday is the perfect time to bring in sensitive plants and make sure pets are protected. Pipes should be fine with this setup.
Freeze/Frost potential
The last time Orlando saw temperatures this cold was back on Jan 25, when we dipped to 38°.
And we could be flirting with history.
Tuesday’s high is forecast at 59 degrees, which could break the record cold high of 61 degrees set all the way back in 1913 — more than a century ago.
Ocala could also break its record cold high, set all the way back in 1905, 120 years ago.
Tuesday A.M.
Morning lows will be cold across the region and it’s possible we could tie or even break those records as well.
