TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After steamy temperatures on Monday and Tuesday, all eyes are on a fall tease for the middle of the week. Chief Meteorologist Mike McCall has the latest.
Tonight Through Tuesday Night
Isolated downpours are possible for Monday evening, mainly in our southeastern counties. However, most of us are dry and warm. Lows settle in the low-to-mid-70s under a mostly clear sky. Some patchy fog is possible.
Another warm day is on tap for Tuesday. Highs top out in the low-to-mid-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds. Spotty showers are possible for the afternoon and evening, but it will not rain for everyone.
Tuesday night is looking mostly dry and mild. Lows fall into the low-and-mid-70s under a mostly clear sky.
Ready For A Slight Fall Feel?
For the middle of the week, we are tracking a shot of some comfortable conditions as drier air rushes into the Big Bend and South Georgia.
The forecast on Wednesday is looking very nice. We are mostly dry under plenty of sunshine. We stay warm with highs in the low-90s, but the humidity and muggy meter will be much lower.
A breezy wind is also on the way. We could see winds up to 25 mph at times.
Many locations will dip into the upper-60s by Wednesday night. If that happens in Tallahassee, it will be the first morning low temperature below 70º since late June.
Isolated showers are possible Thursday, but it will not rain for every town as moisture stays low. Temperatures top out near 90º under some sunshine as a breezy wind lingers. Lows fall into the low-70s.
Extended Forecast
Enjoy the brief break in humidity because moisture surges back into the region as we end the work week and move into the weekend.
As moisture increases, rain chances also climb. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are looking possible on Friday and for the weekend.
Highs hover in the upper-80s to low-90s under a partly cloudy to partly sunny sky.
Lows dip into the low-and-mid-70s.
