A Stranger Things 5-themed treat available for Halloween Horror Nights has been suddenly censored, according to a social media post.
“I Told You to Eat Your D*** Pie!”
In the final season of “Stranger Things,” Erica Sinclair uses a homemade pie spiked with sedatives to knock out the unsuspecting Turnbow family so they can be saved from a Demogorgon attack. When Tina Turnbow refuses to eat it — and after her other family members fall unconscious — Erica whips out a syringe and admonishes her: “I told you to eat your damn pie!”
Universal paid homage to this scene with one of the treats available at Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, with a miniature vanilla cream pie topped with a fondant speech-bubble decoration of Erica’s line. However, according to a video from Instagram user sam.iin.wonderland, the decoration has been swapped for a more sanitized version.
The fondant decoration now reads “I told you to eat your d*** pie!”
