Six Jacksonville Jaguars players will be inactive for the team’s Week 10 matchup against the Houston Texans.

On game days, teams are permitted to have only 48 players active and available.

With 53 players on their roster and one practice squad elevation, that means six players have to be inactive for this game.

Lewis, Thomas Jr., Long, and Cleveland were all ruled out on Friday due to injuries.

At receiver, Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Dyami Brown will shoulder that workload without Thomas Jr.

When Lewis exited last week’s game, Jarrian Jones took over as the nickel cornerback with Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome outside. Once Cleveland left last week’s game, it was Cole Van Lanen who took over at left guard.

Without Long, Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris will handle the snaps at tight end.

With Austin Johnson inactive, this will be the first time that Khalen Saunders will be available since Week 1. He has been a healthy scratch every game since then, up until now.

Lastly, Schrader has been inactive in each game that he’s been with the Jaguars this season as the fourth running back on the depth chart.
