Share Your Christmas 2026 | When, where and how to get involved
ORLANDO, Fla. —
Back for its 41st year, WESH 2’s Share Your Christmas is gearing up to help Second Harvest Food Bank make sure Central Florida families have access to healthy meals this holiday season.
Each year, WESH 2 partners with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to make the holidays a little easier for families struggling to afford food. WESH 2 focuses our effort around two events: A Giving Tuesday telethon and a six-county food drive. The combination of events makes Share Your Christmas Second Harvest’s biggest annual fundraiser.
We know many in our Central Florida community want to help now. So, here’s how you can get involved with Share Your Christmas to make a difference:
Donate to our Share Your Christmas fund:
You can give a monetary, tax-deductible gift that goes directly to Second Harvest Food Bank.
All funds stay local and will help fund supplies for partner food pantries in your community. Based on the zip code you donate from, Second Harvest will allocate your funds to the agencies closest to you.
Begin a food drive for Share Your Christmas:
Now is a great time to begin a food collection, which you can donate during our Share Your Christmas food drive event on Dec. 12.
We’re asking for non-perishable items that can keep the shelves stocked at 800+ partner agencies in the Second Harvest network.
There will be six drop-off locations across Central Florida in Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola and Volusia counties.
Share Your Christmas donations stay local. All the non-perishables we receive through Share Your Christmas stay in the county where they are donated.
