TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Placemaking is all about transforming public spaces into vibrant heartbeats for the community.
From Sept. 16 to Sept. 30, Knight Creative Communities Institute will celebrate with Placemaking Week 2026 in Tallahassee.
KCCI Executive Director Besty Couch and volunteer Lori Elliot joined Ava Van Valen in the WCTV studio to share the importance of placemaking.
Placemaking Week events include live painting, community clean-ups, a walking art tour and more.
